Los Angeles, CA – One Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on I-5 S/Slauson Ave. Off-Ramp

Los Angeles, CA (July 31, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a sedan occurred Thursday afternoon, July 31, on the I-5 Southbound off-ramp at Slauson Avenue in East LA, resulting in at least one injury. The incident was reported around 2:20 p.m., shortly after a nearby collision at Triggs Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a maroon Honda Accord collided with a white semi-truck, leaving both vehicles on the shoulder. The female driver of the sedan sustained injuries and requested emergency medical assistance.

LA County Fire Department crews responded swiftly, treating the injured woman on-site before transporting her to a local hospital for further care. Details regarding the extent of her injuries have not yet been disclosed. CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
