Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Triggs St Leaves One Injured

Los Angeles, CA (July 31, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash caused injuries on the afternoon of Thursday, July 31, along I-5 South at Triggs Street in the Los Angeles Freeway Service Patrol (LAFSP) area. The collision occurred shortly before 2:20 p.m. and involved a maroon Honda Accord and a white semi-truck with a trailer. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the impact left the vehicles on the right shoulder of the freeway. A female occupant of the sedan sustained injuries and requested medical assistance at the scene.

First responders from the LA County Fire Department arrived and provided medical attention before transporting the injured woman to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Her condition has not been released. Traffic was temporarily slowed, but the lanes remained open as crews worked to clear the scene. No other injuries were reported. CHP is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
