Los Angeles, CA – Wreck on I-5 S/Atlantic Blvd Off-Ramp Injures Multiple People

Los Angeles, CA (September 17, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported Wednesday night, September 17, along the southbound lanes of I-5 at the Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a gray Honda Civic and a blue Toyota Prius. The crash occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. and left the Honda driver unresponsive at the scene.

Emergency medical personnel rushed in to provide aid and transported the victim to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Prius also sustained injuries and was treated before being taken for further medical care. CHP is continuing its investigation to determine the cause of the collision. Preliminary reports suggest one of the vehicles may have failed to yield while exiting the freeway.
