Newhall, CA – Motorcycle-SUV Wreck on I-5 S Con./SR-14, Injuries Reported

Newhall, CA (August 25, 2025) – On Monday, August 25, a motorcycle and an SUV collided along the Interstate 5 South connector near SR-14 in Newhall, resulting in reported injuries. CHP officers responded to the right shoulder, where the motorcycle and SUV had come to rest. Initial reports indicated the motorcyclist sustained injuries and required medical assistance. Paramedics arrived shortly after to provide on-site care and determine if hospitalization was necessary. The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Traffic was slowed as officers worked to secure the area and ensure no further hazards to passing motorists. Authorities are still examining the crash to determine what led to the collision.
