San Diego, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S at Nobel Dr Causes Injuries

San Diego, CA (August 25, 2025) – Multiple people were injured Monday, August 25, after a serious crash on I-5 South near Nobel Drive in the northern part of San Diego. The accident, which took place in the evening hours, forced several lanes to close as crews responded. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved at least two black sedans, a dark blue Mazda 3, and a Toyota SUV.

Emergency responders confirmed at least one person was injured, though their condition remains unclear. Victims were either evaluated at the scene or transported to nearby hospitals for further care. Both CHP and tow crews worked to remove the wrecked vehicles and restore traffic flow. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the events leading up to the accident.
