Newhall, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Balboa Blvd Leaves Multiple Injured

Newhall, CA (August 25, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon, August 25, left multiple people injured along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Balboa Boulevard in Newhall. The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a gray Honda minivan. Both vehicles collided in the HOV lane, leaving one driver trapped inside their vehicle.
