Santa Fe Spgs., CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N at I-605 Causes Injuries

Santa Fe Springs, CA (August 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the I-605 interchange resulted in injuries on Monday afternoon, August 25. CHP confirmed the accident involved a gray Toyota Prius and a white Ford F-250 pickup truck. One person reportedly sustained injuries in the collision and was provided treatment at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital. The California Highway Patrol responded promptly, documenting the crash and directing traffic around the damaged vehicles. Tow trucks later removed the Prius and the pickup, both of which had sustained visible damage. Authorities are investigating what caused the crash, but have not ruled out speeding or unsafe merging as possible factors.
