Newhall, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Calgrove Blvd Leaves Victims Injured

Newhall, CA (September 7, 2025) – Injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle accident on I- 5 northbound at the Calgrove Boulevard on-ramp in Newhall early Sunday morning, September 7. The California Highway Patrol stated that the crash occurred around 1:27 a.m. and initially blocked both the on-ramp and off-ramp. The collision involved at least a white Toyota Corolla, a white Toyota Corolla hatchback, and an unidentified vehicle. Officers confirmed that several people were injured, with paramedics providing treatment at the scene. Some victims were transported to a nearby hospital for additional care. CHP units and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office worked to secure the scene and remove the damaged vehicles, which were obstructing traffic. The ramps were reopened after crews cleared debris from the roadway. An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
