Oceanside, CA – Four-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Mission Ave. Leaves Injuries

Oceanside, CA (August 21, 2025) – On Thursday morning, August 21, a four-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound lanes of I-5 just south of Mission Avenue, leaving multiple people injured and prompting a large emergency response. CHP officers arrived at the scene around 8:51 a.m. after receiving reports of the crash.

According to authorities, paramedics provided medical assistance at the scene, treating multiple injured victims. At least two individuals were later transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Fortunately, none of the injuries were considered life-threatening. The crash led to heavy traffic delays as commuters attempted to navigate around the scene. Tow crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles, and officers remained on-site directing traffic.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the chain-reaction crash.
