Oceanside, CA – Injury Collision on I-5 S at Encinitas Blvd Off-Ramp

Oceanside, CA (August 10, 2025) – On Sunday morning, August 10, a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South at the Encinitas Boulevard off-ramp in Oceanside left at least one person injured. The accident occurred shortly after 11:12 a.m. and involved a white Toyota RAV4 and a gray pickup truck. According to the California Highway Patrol, both vehicles became stuck together following the impact, creating a traffic hazard in the slow lane.

Freeway Service Patrol units and local firefighters responded, with paramedics providing on-site medical assistance before transporting at least one injured party to a nearby hospital. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway, and the right lane remained partially blocked until cleanup was completed. Authorities have not yet released details about the severity of injuries.
