Orange Co., CA – Two-Car Collision on I-5 N/SR-22 Leaves Drivers Injured
Orange County, CA (December 9, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a gray Honda Civic and a gray Hyundai left at least one person injured on Monday, December 8, on Interstate 5 northbound near SR-22. CHP logs confirmed initial lane disruption in the HOV center divider area, where the vehicles came to rest following impact.
Responders reported front-end damage to at least one of the vehicles, requiring tow support for removal. Fire personnel assessed injuries on site, noting that individuals appeared stable but required further evaluation due to collision force. The incident was cleared to the shoulder shortly after, and all lanes were later reopened once highway personnel confirmed no further hazards.
Skyline tow services responded to transport the damaged Hyundai while traffic officers continued gathering witness statements and inspecting roadway markings. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
We hope every injured party heals quickly and completely.
