San Diego, CA – Motorcycle and Cadillac Collide on I-5 S/I-15, Rider Injured
San Diego, CA (December 9, 2025) – A serious collision involving a white Cadillac ATS and a motorcycle occurred on Monday, December 8, along Interstate 5 southbound near the I-15 junction. The crash left the motorcyclist injured and prompted immediate medical response to the center divider.
Fire crews arrived quickly, blocking the No. 1 lane to secure the rider and prevent secondary impacts. CHP dispatch requested expedited tow assistance due to the motorcycle’s condition and debris scattered across the roadway. Witness accounts suggest the impact occurred in congested traffic, though the final cause remains under review as officers collect statements.
The injured rider received on-scene stabilization before being transported for further treatment. The Cadillac sustained noticeable damage and required towing as well. Lanes reopened once authorities confirmed vehicle removal and roadway safety.
We wish for the fullest recovery for the injured motorcyclist.
