Sacramento, CA – Injury Wreck on I-5 SB at Jno Garden Hwy

Sacramento, CA (December 11, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on I-5 southbound at the Jno Garden Highway interchange resulted in injuries Thursday morning, December 11. The California Highway Patrol reported that a silver Ford Fusion and a black Dodge Charger collided as the vehicles attempted to maneuver around the blocked area. Officers arriving on scene found one involved party complaining of head pain and displaying signs of confusion, prompting an immediate request for an ambulance.

The Sacramento Fire Department provided initial medical care before transporting the injured individual for further evaluation. Other occupants were assessed at the scene and were not transported. Traffic slowed significantly as responders moved both vehicles to the right-hand shoulder. CHP confirmed that no other injuries were reported.

Tow units later cleared the damaged vehicles, allowing full lane access to resume. Investigators continue to review statements and roadway evidence to determine the cause of the crash.
