Sacramento, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Del Paso Causes Injuries
Sacramento, CA (November 6, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South near Del Paso Road in North Sacramento left at least one person injured on Tuesday, November 5. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident involved a white Toyota Camry and a Chevrolet pickup truck towing a 40-foot trailer.
Investigators said the Toyota lost control, spun out, and collided with the pickup before veering into a nearby field, where it came to rest facing the wrong direction. Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly, assessing the injured at the scene before transporting one person to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Tow trucks from College Oak Towing responded to clear the wreckage, and lanes were temporarily blocked as crews worked to remove debris.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash, including whether speed or lane changes played a role.
