San Diego, CA – Injury Crash on I-5 N/Coronado Ave

San Diego, CA (December 18, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on I-5 North at the Coronado Avenue off-ramp in San Diego on Wednesday, December 17. The collision involved a white Toyota RAV4 and a white Honda Accord, according to the California Highway Patrol.

San Diego Fire-Rescue Medic 3 arrived to find the crash creating a traffic hazard in the number three lane. One or more individuals sustained injuries and were evaluated at the scene before being transported for further medical care. A tow truck was dispatched as officers worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

Traffic was slowed briefly while responders secured the area. CHP is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
