San Diego, CA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Mile of Cars Way Injures One

San Diego, CA (July 24, 2025) – A three-vehicle accident occurred on the southbound side of I-5 near the Mile of Cars Way off-ramp on Thursday morning, July 24, leaving at least one person injured. The crash, which happened just before 11:00 a.m., involved three vehicles that collided under unclear circumstances.

California Highway Patrol units quickly arrived at the scene and confirmed the presence of injuries. Paramedics responded promptly, and at least one injured individual received immediate medical assistance at the site before being transported to a local hospital for further care.

CHP officers coordinated the investigation and cleared the scene. Vehicle debris was removed, and traffic resumed normal flow after a short delay. CHP continues to investigate the events leading up to the crash.
