Santa Fe Springs, CA – Crash on I-5 at Rosecrans Ave. Leaves Victims Injured

Santa Fe Springs, CA (August 22, 2025) – On Thursday, August 21, a serious traffic collision was reported on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Rosecrans Avenue in Santa Fe Springs. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, the crash involved a Toyota Camry and at least one other vehicle, which has not yet been identified.

Responding officers confirmed that several individuals sustained injuries, though the extent of those injuries has not been fully released. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and provided immediate care to those hurt. At least one victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Investigators with the Los Angeles area CHP are still working to determine what may have caused the accident.
