Santa Fe Springs, CA (September 7, 2025) – A two-SUV collision on Interstate 5 northbound near the Firestone Boulevard exit left multiple people injured on Sunday afternoon, September 7. The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 4:43 p.m. when two SUVs collided on the right shoulder. Both vehicles, a gray Ford Edge and a gray Chrysler Pacifica, sustained significant front-end damage. Officers confirmed minor injuries at the scene, with at least one victim transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged SUVs, while officers managed traffic around the crash site. The collision caused delays for drivers traveling through Santa Fe Springs until the roadway was cleared. Authorities continue to investigate the events leading up to the crash.
